I understand that as an exhibition you are already well under way as a group and have themes etc. that go well together, and if you do not think that my images or my idea will fit into this context then I will understand and use the backup plan of the original book!
My project is about Status Anxiety, and how people feel the need to expand and succeed to fulfil the perfect image laid down by society. The images are within the same context, concentrating on housing, using manipulations to augment particular items such as windows, garages, doors etc. I am also removing items such as entrances and windows.
I've found that in my tutorials it has become increasingly difficult to explain my project, but I am hoping that the images will explain themselves! Here are a few examples of the kind of images I am working on now, I would appreciate some feedback if possible.
*UPDATE*
After Joes response, just thought I'd update these images that I am working on, they are changing everytime I work on them I don't know if I will ever be happy with them, but none the less:
Nice images Tess. Was just wondering, do you have a nice for your project?
ReplyDeleteAlso, i noticed that the edge of the house in the middle image is not straight with the frame. Would like to see it vertical like the top image but what do you think?
The only working title I have at the moment is status anxiety but I'm thinking more on the lines of designer houses, i'm not sure yet where the project will take me.
ReplyDeleteI realise the perspectives are way off, and totally agree with you - the images I am now working on have been lense corrected to match the 'head on' shot, i'll post them soon to show you.
